During this IBAH Luncheon, Joe examined retention factors and what clients really want. Joe shared tactics on how you can enhance your value proposition to attract and retain more clients. Joe’s engaging presentation style; together with his fresh perspective provided valuable insight for all roles within a brokerage.

Joe Micallef is the Chief Executive Officer of FIRST Insurance Funding of Canada (FIRST Canada). Joe was with Australia-based leading financial institution since 1996, where he held various executive positions. Maintaining a focus on sales throughout his career Joe relocated to Canada in 2010 to join Macquarie Premium Funding by successfully leading sales teams and building a business model that leveraged his commercial experience. In 2012, after being acquired by Wintrust Financial Corporation Joe was appointed CEO of FIRST Canada, which is now part of the largest independent premium financing group in North America.
